Description
Designed around a rugged bare-tube bundle shell and tube layout, B-1002-C4-F-BR-CN-B-Z provides practical cooling performance for fluid power applications. It uses a four-pass configuration with a 5.13-inch shell diameter, a 18-inch shell length, and about 23.65 inches overall. Material selection for this configuration includes a Brass hub, Brass shell, 0.25-inch Copper Nickel tubes, Bronze bonnets, and included zinc protection. Operating limits are 250 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 350°F maximum temperature. These exchangers are frequently applied to hydraulic oil cooling, lubrication circuits, and general industrial heat rejection. Optional copper nickel tubes, bronze bonnets, and zinc anodes make the series attractive for more corrosion-resistant water service.
