B-1003-C4-O-BR-CN-B-Z is a versatile shell and tube heat exchanger intended for water-to-oil or water-to-water service. It uses a one-pass configuration with a 5.13-inch shell diameter, a 27-inch shell length, and about 32.75 inches overall. Material selection for this configuration includes a Brass hub, Brass shell, 0.25-inch Copper Nickel tubes, Bronze bonnets, and included zinc protection. For operating capability, the design is rated for 250 PSI shell-side pressure, 150 PSI tube-side pressure, and 350°F maximum temperature. These exchangers are frequently applied to hydraulic oil cooling, lubrication circuits, and general industrial heat rejection. Optional copper nickel tubes, bronze bonnets, and zinc anodes make the series attractive for more corrosion-resistant water service.
