B-1003-C4-O-CN-B-Z is a versatile shell and tube heat exchanger intended for water-to-oil or water-to-water service. Its construction centers on a one-pass shell and tube layout with a 5.13-inch diameter shell, 27-inch shell length, and approximately 32.75-inch overall length. This version is built with a Brass hub, Brass shell, 0.25-inch Copper Nickel tubes, Bronze end bonnets, and included zinc anodes. Operating limits are 250 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 350°F maximum temperature. The B/SB platform is commonly used for hydraulic power units, lube oil systems, and general industrial cooling duty. With copper nickel tube, bronze bonnet, and zinc options available, the series can also support more corrosion-conscious applications.
