The unit is arranged as a two-pass exchanger and is built around a 5.13-inch shell, 27-inch shell length, and roughly 32.44-inch overall length. This version is built with a Brass hub, Brass shell, 0.25-inch Copper Nickel tubes, Bronze end bonnets, and included zinc anodes. Ratings include 250 PSI maximum shell-side pressure, 150 PSI tube-side pressure, and a 350°F maximum operating temperature. The B/SB platform is commonly used for hydraulic power units, lube oil systems, and general industrial cooling duty. With copper nickel tube, bronze bonnet, and zinc options available, the series can also support more corrosion-conscious applications.
