This B Series unit is configured for reliable water-to-oil cooling, and B-1004-B6-T-BR combines serviceable construction with durable materials. Its construction centers on a two-pass shell and tube layout with a 5.13-inch diameter shell, 36-inch shell length, and approximately 41.44-inch overall length. Material selection for this configuration includes a Brass hub, Brass shell, 0.375-inch Copper tubes, Cast Iron bonnets, and optional zinc protection. Ratings include 250 PSI maximum shell-side pressure, 150 PSI tube-side pressure, and a 350°F maximum operating temperature. The B/SB platform is commonly used for hydraulic power units, lube oil systems, and general industrial cooling duty. Optional copper nickel tubes, bronze bonnets, and zinc anodes make the series attractive for more corrosion-resistant water service.
