B-1004-C4-O-BR

Designed around a rugged bare-tube bundle shell and tube layout, B-1004-C4-O-BR provides practical cooling performance for fluid power applications. It uses a one-pass configuration with a 5.13-inch shell diameter, a 36-inch shell length, and about 41.75 inches overall. This version is built with a Brass hub, Brass shell, 0.25-inch Copper tubes, Cast Iron end bonnets, and optional zinc anodes. For operating capability, the design is rated for 250 PSI shell-side pressure, 150 PSI tube-side pressure, and 350°F maximum temperature. The B/SB platform is commonly used for hydraulic power units, lube oil systems, and general industrial cooling duty. With copper nickel tube, bronze bonnet, and zinc options available, the series can also support more corrosion-conscious applications.
