Material selection for this configuration includes a Brass hub, Brass shell, 0.25-inch Copper tubes, Cast Iron bonnets, and included zinc protection. Operating limits are 250 PSI on the shell side, 150 PSI on the tube side, and 350°F maximum temperature. This style of cooler is well suited for hydraulic, lubrication, and mobile equipment applications. Material options such as copper nickel tubes, bronze bonnets, and zinc anodes expand its usefulness in harsher water conditions.
