Material selection for this configuration includes a Brass hub, Brass shell, 0.375-inch Copper Nickel tubes, Bronze bonnets, and included zinc protection. Ratings include 250 PSI maximum shell-side pressure, 150 PSI tube-side pressure, and a 350°F maximum operating temperature. The B/SB platform is commonly used for hydraulic power units, lube oil systems, and general industrial cooling duty. With copper nickel tube, bronze bonnet, and zinc options available, the series can also support more corrosion-conscious applications.
