B-1002-B6-O-BR-CN-B-Z is a versatile shell and tube heat exchanger intended for water-to-oil or water-to-water service. It uses a one-pass configuration with a 5.13-inch shell diameter, a 18-inch shell length, and about 23.75 inches overall. Construction includes a Brass hub, Brass shell, 0.375-inch Copper Nickel cooling tubes, Bronze end bonnets, and included zinc anodes. For operating capability, the design is rated for 250 PSI shell-side pressure, 150 PSI tube-side pressure, and 350°F maximum temperature. These exchangers are frequently applied to hydraulic oil cooling, lubrication circuits, and general industrial heat rejection. With copper nickel tube, bronze bonnet, and zinc options available, the series can also support more corrosion-conscious applications.
