B-1002-B6-O-BR is a versatile shell and tube heat exchanger intended for water-to-oil or water-to-water service. It uses a one-pass configuration with a 5.13-inch shell diameter, a 18-inch shell length, and about 23.75 inches overall. This version is built with a Brass hub, Brass shell, 0.375-inch Copper tubes, Cast Iron end bonnets, and optional zinc anodes. Ratings include 250 PSI maximum shell-side pressure, 150 PSI tube-side pressure, and a 350°F maximum operating temperature. This style of cooler is well suited for hydraulic, lubrication, and mobile equipment applications. Optional copper nickel tubes, bronze bonnets, and zinc anodes make the series attractive for more corrosion-resistant water service.
