Designed around a rugged bare-tube bundle shell and tube layout, B-1003-B6-F-BR-CN provides practical cooling performance for fluid power applications. Its construction centers on a four-pass shell and tube layout with a 5.13-inch diameter shell, 27-inch shell length, and approximately 32.65-inch overall length. Material selection for this configuration includes a Brass hub, Brass shell, 0.375-inch Copper Nickel tubes, Cast Iron bonnets, and optional zinc protection. Ratings include 250 PSI maximum shell-side pressure, 150 PSI tube-side pressure, and a 350°F maximum operating temperature. These exchangers are frequently applied to hydraulic oil cooling, lubrication circuits, and general industrial heat rejection. Optional copper nickel tubes, bronze bonnets, and zinc anodes make the series attractive for more corrosion-resistant water service.
